Just be. I'll find the shot.
Hi, I'm Angel — a film-inspired photographer based in LA. My friends all agree: if I were an animal, I'd be Flash the sloth from Zootopia. Not because I'm slow — but because I carry this chill, laid-back energy we call hea in Cantonese.
Before I raise the camera, I watch — where the light falls, how people hold themselves when they're most relaxed, what a place looks like at its rawest. That attentiveness is what gives my photographs their honesty.

Some trace it to hit3(歇) in Toisan dialect — to rest from work. Others say it came from “hang around.” Whatever the origin, hea is the art of not forcing it: flowing with life rather than fighting it. In a world that glorifies hustle, the most real moments happen when you stop performing and start living.

Found, not forced.
I shoot on a Fuji X-S20 with a film-inspired approach — restraint over volume, intention over quantity. Fewer frames with more care leads to photographs that feel real rather than manufactured.
When you look back at these photos years from now, I want you to smile. Not because everything was perfect, but because everything was real.
Golden hour hit and you laughed. That was the shot.
What I Offer
Experiences, not deliverables. Every session is built around ease — you show up, I handle the rest.
Golden Hour Walk
60–90 min portrait session at the best light of the day. We walk, we talk, we shoot. No shot list, no stress. Unhurried and real.
Milestone Moments
Graduation, birthdays, anniversaries. The celebrations that deserve to be remembered as they actually felt — not performed for the camera.
Day in the Life
Following you through your world — coffee shops, campus, city streets. Candid and unscripted, with you at the center.
